Zachia has personally coached students from a wide spectrum of schools in Mathematics, ranging from the GCE ‘N’ Level, GCE ‘O’ Level, GCE ‘A’ Level, Integrated Programme, International Baccalaureate, and even undergraduates pursuing courses with Mathematics related subjects.

A firm believer of developing the holistic individual, Zachia is passionate in the teaching and the learning of Mathematics, as well as the mentoring and coaching of life skills and leadership development to young people. “No man can teach another self-knowledge. He can only lead him or her up to self-discovery – the source of truth.” (Allan Bloom). Education is about inculcating a keen sense of learning, be it academic content or skills. Zachia is also enthusiastic in inculcating an inquiring and strong mind, a confident attitude, and the zest for learning. Peak Consulting is a culmination of such beliefs and passion. Peak Consulting is about “having an end in mind, about scaling the best for oneself, about journeying and growing, and about celebrating milestone successes.”

As a creator of the F-I-T™ Learning Model and B-U-D™ Teaching Model, Zachia relates complicated Mathematics concepts in a way that is most challenging to students of any stream, programme and level. The profiling of learners and the customized learning scaffold for each individual student allow for the most optimal learning success. To complement each individual’s learning success, she created the L-E-A-P™ Performance Model to complete the loop of achievements by facilitating the learners with differing capabilities to attain their optimum performance.

In the implementation of this innovative approach to teaching and learning, Zachia’s highly adaptive and perceptive methodology in the facilitation of learning and attainment hails from a vast and challenging background in the Ministry of Education, which saw her progressing through schools and the ministry’s headquarters as a Head of Department, up till 2008, when she left to pursue her dream and realize her passion. Thus, Peak Consulting was conceptualized and eventually realized in 2009 to provide students with the opportunity to attain their goals.

Zachia holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Chemistry from the National University of Singapore, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from National Institute of Education and a Master of Education Management from University of Western Australia. She is also a Neuro-Linguistics Programme (NLP) Practitioner and a certified life coach.
